Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ShelfTally website atshelftally.com and any related services provided by ShelfTally, a product of Offshoot Labs ("we," "us," or "our").
Service Description
ShelfTally is a Shopify app for stock takes, inventory counts, and purchase-order receiving. It lets merchants count inventory with barcode scanning in Shopify POS, review discrepancies, and apply inventory adjustments to their Shopify store. Our website also provides informational blog content about inventory management for Shopify merchants.
Subscriptions and Billing
ShelfTally offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. All charges are billed through Shopify's billing system and appear on your Shopify invoice. By approving a subscription in Shopify, you agree to the recurring charge for your selected plan.
- Plan prices and limits are shown in the app and on the App Store listing at the time of purchase
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from within the app; cancelling or uninstalling stops future charges in accordance with Shopify's billing cycle
- Except where required by law or by Shopify's policies, fees already charged are non-refundable
- We may change plan pricing with reasonable advance notice; changes take effect at your next billing cycle
Inventory Data and Adjustments
ShelfTally applies inventory adjustments to your Shopify store based on counts performed by you and your staff. You are responsible for reviewing discrepancies before applying adjustments and for the accuracy of your inventory records. We recommend keeping Shopify's inventory history enabled so adjustments remain auditable.
